Ganguly happy with Kolkata team

Sourav Ganguly said that he was happy with the Kolkata team after the bidding for players in Mumbai for BCCI’s multi-billion dollar Indian Premier League.

“Yes, I am happy, You don’t need too many batsmen in Twenty20 cricket. The team we have got is okay“

Australian Ricky Ponting and David Hussey, Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar, West Indies opener Chris Gayle, New Zealand Wicketkeeper-batsman Brendon Mcculum, as also Indian cricketers Ajit Agarkar, Ishant Sharma are among the players the Kolkata Team won in Wednesday’s auction.

The IPL will start from April 18. I am not sure if I will get to watch any of the matches but NDTV 24×7 will definitely update me on all the happenings of IPL.
