India 82-0 at stumps on day 2
By AND
The Indian team was 82 for no loss at stumps on day 2 of the first Test against South Africa at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Sehwag, once again proved his critics wrong by scoring a half-century.
Earlier, South Africa were bowled out for 540 on day 2. This mammoth score was put up due to the heroics of Hashim Amla, who slammed his maiden century against India.
Harbhajan, only claimed 2 wickets in his 1st 40 overs but later he swept the SA tail with his 21st five-wicket haul.
I wasn’t able to watch the match due to my busy schedule but saw the post day-2 analysis on NDTV 24×7. I personally like the way the news channel presents the coverage – very crisp. The channel is available in the US only through DirecTV amongst other Indian channels.
